Welcome to this year’s WONDERFUL WOODLAND ADVENT CALENDAR 2025.
Please read all of the below to avoid any questions and the mood board is an indicator of colours and themes to keep it all a surprise for you!
What is an advent calendar?
Basically 25 little packages of joy to open up daily from the 1st December right up to and including Christmas Day. All these packages are going to combine into a beautiful needle felted Christmas creation for you to display. This creation can be displayed at Christmas but also throughout the year by removing a few pieces. The whole advent will arrive to you in a large, very smart and versatile tote bag for you to use all year round.
How do you know what to felt?
I will be releasing daily videos onto my Youtube channel “Felts By Philippa” from the 1st December opening each bag with you. There will be full instructional videos on all the separate elements plus some bonus videos too from the small businesses that I have purchased the most beautiful wools from for you. About 20 of the bags contain wool and supplies for our project but there will be some extra bonus wools too!
When do I receive my Woodland Advent Calendar?
This is a PRE-ORDER being released on the 13th July 2025 to the public on my website only. You will pay for it in advance which allows me to then purchase all the supplies and spend the whole month of September putting the advents all together. My Patreons will have first choice to order on the Saturday 12th July. There will a maximum be 100 advents as I am only one person. They will be posted out around the beginning to middle of October to arrive in plenty of time for the 1st December. Please see POSTAGE COSTS at the bottom, thanks.
Can I do this Advent if I am a beginner?
It would be great if you have done a few felts first but if you purchase it now you have plenty of time to start you needle felting journey before the 1st December.
Will I have to felt every day to keep up?
No, some days will be catch up days when you get the bonus wools and also other smaller accessories. There are seven main felts and also the base will take at least a week to work on gradually depending how firm and smooth you like your finish to be.
Will I need anything extra?
A mat and three needles will be supplied in the kit but a multi-needle tool will really help speed things up. A sewing needle and thread, any colour, there is a tiny amount of sewing but avoidable if you wish. An awl to help make eyes holes is also good but scissors will suffice.
This is your present to yourself to enjoy Christmas and the lead up to it, relax and enjoy some felting time. Support some amazing small businesses, push yourself to make a beautiful and big project to display for years to come. If you don’t finish there is no hurry as the videos will be on my channel forever.

UK - £5.15 48 hours tracked
US - £30.90 Tracked and Signed (it’s a medium parcel and if I get it any cheaper when posting I will refund every single person).
Australia - £35.10 Tracked and Signed and as above, if I get it cheaper I will absolutely refund every person.
New Zealand - £35.10 and as above for Australia
Ireland ( not Northern) - £10.90 tracked
Guernsey - £4.29 tracked
I cannot post the the EU and Northern Ireland, I am not GSPR approved, if your order goes through for some unknown reason I will refund you, it is illegal for me to post to you. I am not posting to Canada as I have had too many parcels get stuck in customs for months so I am very sorry but it’s not worth it for me.
